Learning how to fly is very exciting but can also be overwhelming.  This page has some links to help you stay organized.

A rental agreement is required to be filled out and filed before renting.

Renters insurance is required for all aircraft rented without an instructor. You can purchase renters insurance through Aviation Marine or any other provider you like. The minimum coverage required for aircraft damage is $10,000 but $25,000 is highly recommended

Aviationweather.gov is a great resource for aviation weather planning. Just keep in mind it is not an official weather briefing.

Talking on the radio can be intimidating. Click the link on the right to see a break down of the traffic pattern and radio calls for an uncontrolled airport.

Flying the traffic pattern can be a high work load for a new student pilot. Familiarizing yourself with the recommended pattern on the ground will help you not feel so overwhelmed. This pattern would be for a 172 and is only a recommended guide.
